Biography

My name is Andrew Renz. I am currently a senior at Wakefield and I will be attending the University of Tennessee in August to study mechanical engineering. I have grown up on a farm in Broad Run and thus grown an appreciation for the natural world. The future of said world relies on my generation, as we must correct the mistakes of the past. Nuclear power seemed interesting enough, and incredibly controversial. In that manner, nuclear power stood out as a topic to dissect and discuss for my senior thesis, as I could bring in elements of engineering, environmental protection, and mainstream media/culture.
